Isaiah 3-4 Mark 1:23-45

Good Morning Trust Seekers! I am running late this morning because of illness. However, I completed my reading and blessed because of it. Isaiah 3-4 continues the promised destruction and punishment of those who have turned away from the Lord. Specifically Jerusalem and Judah. In summary one could say that God is going to remove his hand of protection and of providing for these who are suppose to be his people. No one who has turned away will be spared; not the young, not women, nor the leaders or the cities. However, he will re-establish his kingdom in both these cities. The Lord promises that the righteous will be provided and lead by his. The imagery is the same as he lead them out of Egypt, cloud by day, fire by night.

Mark 1:23-45 continues the establishment of Jesus ministry and authority on earth. He already has dominion over demons, however, a price has to be paid before he has it over mankind. He cast out demonic presence and attempts to keep it quiet because it is not time for Him yet. But the good news of healing and hope cannot be quieted. I am moved by 45. Jesus is not only willing but able, and heals the leper. I encourage each of you who read to bring your trouble, your family, and your life and Jesus can heal and deliver each of us. Will you trust Him?
