Good Morning Truth Seekers! Isaiah 23-25 represent more of the same; God is going to destroy Tyre. He will use the Assyrians to do it, but it Tyre will rebuild and be the same sin city it once was. 24. Devastation to the earth the Lord will bring. This destruction like before will be because of disobedience (5) but Praise be to the Lord 25 speaks of the restoration that will come to Jerusalem.
Mark 6: 1-29; Jesus is rejected in his home town. often times the people who you love do not benefits from gifts, wisdom or power one might have. Their disbelief was so bad that Jesus could not do many miracles there. I hope that faith overcomes disbelief in your life and mine. The Bible teaches that without faith it is impossible to please God. God no doubt was not pleased with Nazareth. But the work continued elsewhere, and many were healed. Tragically, in 14 -29 John the Baptist was beheaded. You can kill the man but the mission must go on.
