Genesis 25 - 26: Romans 9:1-15

Good Evening Truth Seekers! It has been a day. I enjoyed studying this morning at church and having a healthy discussion about Abraham and his clan. Thanks! I am encouraged that Abraham had complete his time and task on this earth. The Bible said he died at a good old age. I realize that each of us have only so much time to complete the divine assigment of of our lives. I hope that in 2009 you get a sense of urgency about what God has ordained in your life. Rest In Peace Father Abraham. Reading this morning that Issaac follows in his father's feet path in his blessing and his shortcomings! In verse 3 of 26 God promises to bless Isaac and his descendants keeping with the promise he made Abraham. Likewise, he lies to Abimelech about Rebekah being his wife as did his father about Sarah. I call this type of circumstance a curse of blessings. They both had beautiful wives and had to worry about being killed for it. While I am here I am reminded that every blessing has it struggles. Many times we get good news with bad. My Pastor says, "That is what keeps us on our bended knees in prayer. "

Romans 9:1-15 Speaking of a sense of urgency, Paul's has such for his people the Jews. Paul's faith is that it is not too late for the Jewish people. He is clear that they are a chosen people, but his heart wonders if they will choose God. That is the question of the ages; "Who will be the whosoever and believe?" Be blessed and a blessing!
