Leviticus 6-7:Hebrews 8

Good Morning Truth Seekers! This week we approach Resurrection Sunday, and remember was Jesus did through this Holy Week. Govern yourselves accordingly! Leviticus 6-7 establishes regulations for the sin, guilt and fellowship offerings. Additionally, it regulates the portion the priest shall have from the offerings. This is clear that God has provided for the priest through those in which they provided spiritual leadership and service. Most people see no responsibility to provide for the man of God. They fail to think about the consequence of robbing God. It in essence rob the man of God of provisions for himself and his family. When Gods says bring the tithe so that it will be meat in His house, is to support those who serve there, and who come with need.
Hebrews 8 establishes the concept that not only is Jesus a better high priest and from a different line. He also ministers in a new covenant that is superior to the old one. That covenant will be made in the hearts and minds of people, not of stone. Worship to God will come from love and adoration, not ritual and obligation. I hope you are worshipping God because of your love for him. When that happens nothing is held back from him; our life, our time, or resources become His.
