Good Morning Truth Seekers! Leviticus 25 is about the sabbath rest and the year of Jubilee. The sabbath rest is a provision for the earth to rest and to be restored in a year when no crops are planted. It is required every seven years and after seven of them then Jubilee. It is the year of redemption for Israel. God has instructed them to redeem all that has been sold or lost in Israel. Israel belongs to God therefore, all people and property should be redeemed by his people for his name sake. What a concept; all things belong to God. How about in your life?
Revelation 3 continues the instruction to churches and the star scripture is 3:20 I stand at the door and knock, whoever lets me in I will eat with them and them with me. What a summary: God does not impose himself on anyone, but for those who answers his call will be blessed. The blessing includes provisions, protection (prevention), guidance and eternity with him. Will you answer the door and let the King of Glory come in?
