Proverbs 25-26: Hebrews 3
Good Morning Truth Seekers! Hebrews 3 is straight forward. Christ is greater than the prophet Moses. Remember the writer is trying to encourage those converted Jews not to recant their profession. He is laying the foundation for a brighter future verses a dead past, meaning returning to the law of Moses. He believes the Jesus was the way to salvation and warned them against disbelief. His warning included the tragic end of those who died in the wilderness and cited that their sin was disbelief. They were scared of being persecuted and no doubt martyred. But the writer of Hebrews exhorts them to continue in the faith. Sometimes life is so hard that we question our faith. Christianity is not easy, but its promise is to be worth whatever struggle we endure. Don't quit! Don't give up! Don't be over come by fear, but live in the promises of God.
