Leviticus 8-10:Hebrews 9

Good Morning Truth Seekers! Leviticus 8-10 culminates in ordination of Aaron and his sons as priest. and ends in the death of Nadab and Abihu two of the sons. Every thing in God's house has purpose and order. Aaron was the high priest, his sons are subordinate to him, they were killed because they tried to usurp the order God has in place. In the world it is called pecking order, in the church it is divine order. God honors the offices and officers. A deacon has no business acting in the roll of a pastor. Why? He can do the same thing but never will he have a pastor's heart or authority; those things come from God. Destruction will follow when order is not followed according to divine order. God was not playing about how the sacrifices should be made. He is the authority and the worship leader, and only He can make the rules.

Hebrews 9 speaks of the divine order regarding the Holy place. There must be divine order in sacrifice and service unto to the Lord. Christ's blood cleanses us because of the order in which it was given. Jesus was the offering and the presenter of Himself as the unblemished offering, whose blood made restitution of all sin.
