Good Morning Truth Seekers! Isaiah 39 & 40 begins by a kind gesture from the Babylonian King. Hezekiah showed the Babylonians all of his treasure and I Isaiah prophesied that one day the king of Babylon will walk away with it. Additionally, his sons would be slaves in Babylon. Hezekiah blew it off with fine as long as it happens after he dies. 40: Man is like grass and flowers. He fades away but the word of God shall stand forever. More so, God is incomparable to man, He never tires or grows faint. Even when we as man give out and give up God never will. Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. This is a great witness to me today. I hope you find the strength to wait on God, and the wisdom to not get ahead of him.
Mark 10: 1-31 Jesus has come for every person to receive salvation. No one is excluded, not even children. He scolds his disciples for keeping the children from see Him. He said that the kingdom of God belongs to them too. The rich young ruler comes puffed up and thinking that he has it all together. But Jesus see his heart and challenges him to let go of earthly treasure to have eternal riches. He could not do it. Each of us have a different cross to bear, his was his wealth, knowing ours will be what is important in being able to hold heartily follow God.
