January 3rd: Genesis 7-9; Romans 3

Good morning, Truth Seekers! Today's reading inspires me in many ways. First Genesis and Romans supports Paul's theme:3:23 we all have sinned and have fallen short of God's glory. Secondly, the God who loves us as His creation continues to make provision for us to be saved. First by righteous Noah, and ultimately by righteous Jesus. I pause to note that after God saved Noah, he worshipped God. (Gen. 8:20) I hope as you experience God's grace that you do not forsake worship. Secondly, I am inspired by Genesis 7:5 "And Noah did all the Lord commanded him." What a tall task! Noah was charged with build the ark and catch the animals. I am convinced that God enables us to complete divine assignments. Relying on God is the only way this task could have been accomplished. God not only gives strength to complete, but he gives reward. Genesis 8:1 But God remembered Noah and the wild animals. Here is the message: You do right; God will remember and reward you. What is your assignment from God? ( Husband, Father, Wife, Mother, Friend, Son, Daughter, Preacher, Teacher, Praise Dancer, Worship Leader, or Pastor, etc. etc,) Are you relying on God?
