Proverbs 30-31: Hebrews 5

Hebrews 5: Introduces Jesus as greater than any other high priest. He is a high priest in the order of Mechizadek. Which means he greater than the Levitical line of priest and Aaronodical line, because he was before any of them. Furthermore, Jesus will reign as intercessor forever, and has no need for atoning his own sin. The writer will explain further, but hesitates because of the lack of maturity of his readers. He proposes that they should be mature enough to understand Christ's priestly significance.

I know this frustration, and it compare faintly to what God must feel about each of us. It is said that God loves us enough to accept us as we are, but too much to let us stay that way. I believe that transformation is expected of us to grow in the knowledge of God and his deity. Are you growing? Can you have a mature conversation about your faith? Is your understanding deeper than it was when you first believed?
