Isaiah 26-27: Mark 6:30-56

Good Morning Truth Seekers! Isaiah 26-26 really are songs of praise considering the destruction we have read in the past few days. Judah will return to the Lord and reap the blessings set aside for righteousness. A strong city will once again be theirs. Verse 12 gives all glory to God for what they have and become. Note verse 19 which speaks of resurrection for those who are in God. 27 speaks of the remnant of Israel that the Lord has preserved. He has watch and watered his vineyard and fruit will be produced. Israel has been chastened but not destroyed completely. Israel will worship the one true God again and him only.

Mark 6: Jesus feeds the five thousand with a small lunch. We see the limitless power of God at work. He provides for those who follow Him. Often times those closes to such greatness misses it. After all that the disciples saw they still did not recognize Jesus as God. What will it take? He has walked on water, healed the sick, and fed 5,000 with the lunch of one. What will it take in your life to recognize the Jesus as Lord? As God?
