Isaiah 1-2:Mark 1:1-22

Good Morning Truth Seekers! We begin Isaiah today, which focuses on salvation. Isaiah is a little more complexed than Genesis. It will require you to dig a little deeper to get an understanding. The prophet speaks of condemnatin of Judah for its wickedness and then redemption will come. The word salvation is used 26 times in Isaiah and seven times in all the other prophets.
Mark's Gospel can be summed up as the service and sacrifice of Jesus. It is compressed and leaves out many details we find in the other three gospels. It is believed to be first of the four gospels, and written by Mark who fell out with Paul because he left the mission field early.
