Isaiah 41-41 Mark 10:32-52

Good Morning Truth Seekers! Mark 10:32-52: Jesus is trying to prepare his disciples for what will happen in Jerusalem. James and John see opportunity as politically make a play for their futures. Jesus tells them that he cannot just give them the seats on his right and left. But he schools them on serving their way to the the front. I think all too often people overlook the serving part of leadership. People in general think that the leader is in a place of privilege, but he is really in a place of service. Jesus serves once more by healing Bartmaeus.

Isaiah 41-42 reminds Israel of where their help comes from; It will not be from idols even though they insult God by constantly calling on idols to help them. 42. Is the promise that the servant of the Lord will come and with the spirit of the Lord upon him will bring justice to all nations. The Lord declares in verse 8 that he will not give His glory to another.
